Becoming sound is a small scale, full service recording facility located in rural and beautiful Ymir BC. We provide a fun, focused and professional atmosphere, away from urban busyness, for artists to create new works and develop existing materials. With services ranging from inception to mastered mixes, composition, writing retreats with luxury onsite accommodations and demo packages, Becoming Sound can help you reach your creative potential.
The 2 room studio contains high quality digital and analogue equipment, a professionally trained, experienced and personable engineer coupled with light filled mountain views providing the ideal environment while your ideas are becoming sound.
Thanks to support from CREATIVE BC, we were able to complete phase 2 of Becoming Sound. This build included completion and isolation of the live room, glass between rooms and to outside mountain views, air handling and an amazing upgrade to studio gear and software.
